Filipe Gaspar holds a BSc (2007) and an MSc (2009) in Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering, and is a PhD student in Computer Graphics and Multimedia, all of from/at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal). His PhD relies on 3D Object Reconstruction and Tracking. Since 2008 he has been working as software engineer and researcher at ADETTI-IUL, in fields such as computer vision, 3D object reconstruction and tracking, augmented and virtual reality, maintaining collaborations with companies, such as Vision-Box (www.vision-box.com) and YDreams (www.ydreams.com), and lectured Computer Graphics and Human-Computer Interaction courses at PIAGET Institute (www.ipiaget.org) from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, he has joined Microsoft/MLDC (http://www.microsoft.com/pt-pt/mldc) as research and software engineer to contribute with his expertise in fields of computer vision and computer graphics in several R&D international projects (National QREN LUL, QREN ALL4ALL, QREN CNG, and Marie Curie GOLEM).
