José Basílio Simões, President of ISA accepted the invitation to join the BSAFE LAB Strategic Council.
Mr. Simões, b. 1967, is President and Founder of the high-tech company ISA - Intelligent Sensing Anywhere, S.A. listed in NYSE Alternext Lisbon since 2012 (ALISA). He has grown the company from zero to 150 people and 8+ million euros turnover attracting major international customer accounts in more than 30 countries.
He coordinates the Center Business Angel Club and regularly invests in new technological startups (seed and early-stage capital).
He is also Invited Professor on Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation at the University of Coimbra.
He holds a PhD in Technological Physics and authored several dozens of scientific publications in international refereed journals, managed several European projects and developed and patented several innovative remote management systems in the domains of energy, utilities, environment and healthcare.
